R&D

Throughout thousands of years of history, humanity has advanced agriculture by selecting the most productive and resilient seeds. At Genseed, we carry this ancient knowledge into the future by combining it with our scientific research, bringing it forward in the most natural and sustainable way.

Our R&D Approach

With knowledge-based production processes and traceable quality standards, developing reliable, high-value seeds for both local and global markets is among our top priorities, as we strive to enhance farmers’ competitiveness and increase production efficiency. While working to develop high-yield, disease-resistant seeds adapted to local climates and soil conditions, we leverage the strong technical and human infrastructure of our R&D laboratories. Through the analyses, disease testing, and breeding record systems carried out in our laboratories, we aim to build a bioinformatics database for the future.

"The ancient wisdom of humanity is being carried into the future through science."

OUR R&D FOCUS AREAS

Image Description

Plant Tissue Culture Laboratory

By applying haploid and somaclonal techniques in our laboratory to shorten breeding processes, we obtain pure parental lines and take the essential first step in developing strong seeds that meet growers’ needs.

Molecular Genetics Laboratory

Our laboratory, where we apply molecular techniques and benefit from advanced technological infrastructure, enables us to determine seed characteristics with the highest accuracy, thereby preventing potential human errors in the seed breeding process.
